Teaching Syllabus
This is the first and last part syllabus for Southfields Wing Chun…
Upon attending classes students will have access to the whole syllabus. The syllabus is used to guide students in their learning and so the class instructors may teach some areas before others if they feel it will be beneficial to the student. As the syllabus shows we aim to build a knowledge of technique and theory combined with self defence tests including pressure testing to make students as good as possible.
Sil Lim Tao part one
Techniques:Open and close stance. |
Self Defence:Defence against wrist grab. Form:Sil Lim Tao part one and two, Theory:Centerline theory. |
Instructor Training & Dummy and Weapons
Techniques:Applications of Knife form. Self Defence:All of the above self defence techniques. |
Forms:Knife Form. Theory:Full written thesis on Wing Chun. Should aim to make an original contribution to the way people understand Wing Chun.
Should aim for 6-10 thousand words but it is quality not quantity that is required.
